Prince Harry could be looking to mend his broken relationship with the Royal Family, with reports suggesting he’s hoping to visit the UK following Donald Trump’s election victory - and we want to hear your thoughts.

It comes after Trump threatened to deport the Duke of Sussex during his election campaign, following Harry’s drug confession in his memoir Spare, where he admitted to using cocaine, cannabis and magic mushrooms. Questions have since been raised over Harry’s visa application, as disclosure of previous drug use is required - and Trump stated that "appropriate action" would be taken if he had lied.

With the threat of deportation looming, sources have claimed Harry is trying to heal the rift with the Firm, which has hit breaking point since he stepped down from royal duties in 2020. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told Times Radio that Harry was initially the one who was pushing his family away, but the tables may now have firmly turned.

She continued: "Early on it was Harry, who was demanding an apology. There was going to be no meeting of minds or meeting in reality until there was an apology for the affronts he thought had been made to his wife. But now I think the tables have turned somewhat.

"Messages coming from Harry's side are that he's ready at least to forgive and that he loves his family. He's said that quite publicly. He wants to see more of them. But it is Charles and William who seem to be resisting reconciliation at this point so I think it was first one, then the other."

Tensions escalated after the publication of Harry’s bombshell book, where he was candid about his personal gripes with his family and levied serious allegations against them including, royal aides leaking stories, and that his brother William physically assaulted him. In an interview promoting his memoir, when Harry was asked about whether reconciliation with his family was possible, he said that the "ball is in their court" and that from his perspective the "door is always open".

What’s more, sources recently told the Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan are making "desperate" attempts to offer an olive branch to their estranged family members. They added: "We can expect to see more of Harry back in Britain in years to come."
