November has kickstarted with a flurry of Black Friday sales, despite the peak shopping event officially starting at the end of the month retailers have launched early including Samsung, Ninja, Dyson, Debenhams and more. This year, Black Friday falls on November 29, with shoppers able to bag a bargain from countless retailers across the weekend until Cyber Monday on December 2.

So, you don’t have to wait for the sales to get a great deal, as some big brands have kicked things off early. In this updated edition of our Top Tech series, we’ve pulled together some of the best Black Friday sales.

Including a deal that makes the Samsung Galaxy S24 phone hundreds cheaper, £150 cut off Dyson's cordless vacuums (yes, a staple for many) and £80 off airfryers at Ninja. There's plenty to soak up for mobile fans, TV viewers or household appliance shoppers.

Dyson

Dyson has kicked of its autumn sale with up to £150 off vacuum cleaners and heaters

Dyson has launched its 2024 Black Friday deals with up to £150 off its range of vacuum cleaners and air purifying heaters. Arguably its most eye-catching deal is on the Dyson V8 vacuum, which has seen a price drop from £399.99 to £249.99.

The cordless vacuum cleaner is ideal for homes with pets as it detangles hair as it cleans, whether on soft or hard surfaces. It also includes a range of tools so you can clean hard-to-reach places or take it out to clean in the car.

There’s also £100 off the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool purifying fan heater. This versatile gadget can heat your home in the winter and keep you cool in summer, as well as purifying the air by capturing 99.95% of particles.

The purifier is usually priced at £549.99, but Dyson has reduced it down to £449.99. It's possible other offers will launch inbetween now and the official November 29 date, so you can see the full sale page here.

The Living and Home Digital Ceramic Heater is just one of the appliances currently on sale, with customers able to snap one up for £43, more than £110 off the usual £155.88. Elsewhere, our team of shopping experts has hand-picked a range of other early Black Friday deals from other retailers like Ninja, Shark and Oodie here.

Debenham's 70% off electricals

"Black Friday is coming" are the words from the ex high-street retailer, who have recently launched a huge 70% off for eager Black Friday shoppers. And amid the fashion, beauty, and homeware sale rails it includes electricals - where you can find the likes of JBL headphones, Smeg coffee machines, and Dell gaming monitors reduced.

One of the biggest discounts on monitors is this Lenovo IdeaCentre packed as it's reduced to £669 from the previous £899.99 price. While this 8% Dell discount may also be appealing for home workers.

Home appliances are front and centre to Debenham's Black Friay sale, and this Smeg coffee machine is one appliance deal we couldn't ignore. The 38% saving has cut the price to an eye-catching £160, down from £258 - that's a £98 saving.

In the days before the sale we also had our eye on its preview deals, which included a huge chunk of money taken off airfryers including the Living and Home 15L three-tier air fryer is a whopping £151 off at £48.99.

Ninja cuts hundreds off appliances

It's become a go-to for worktop gadgets, the speedy cooking air fryers blenders, and grills. Ninja has officially launched its Black Friday sale, with hundreds taken off some of which include accessories.

This is a standout for the brand as usually shoppers have to buy these separately. One which caught our eye is the Foodi Max 15-in-1 Multi Cooker, a warming comfort for winter family meals.

Up to £250 off phones at giffgaff

This is one to rival Samsung's wave of Black Friday offers, giffgaff has gone live with their Black Friday offers. A provider which our team does recommend for pay-as-you-go contracts, as you can select more flexible rolling terms.

Our writer Nisha Mal has taken a look at the offers for our sister site The Express, and the iPhone 16, Google Pixel, and Samsung S24 deals certainly stood out to us. She said: "The biggest reduction is on the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, which you can buy outright now for £899 down from £1149—an impressive saving of £250.

"Prospective iPhone 16 buyers can make a £50 saving on contracts or buy the mobile outright. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is also included in the Black Friday sale - now on offer for £1139 down from £1339."

Virgin Media

Virgin Media's free Robot Vacuum worth £399 or £200 bill credit with select TV deals has now ended, but we would advise shoppers to look out for a similar freebie-style deal in the weeks to come this November.

The provider is yet to launch its Black Friday offers, but one deal on its site may be worth it for broadband shoppers. That's the £75 bill credit for anyone who takes out one of its "blazing-fast" broadband plans - which is available on the Gig1 or M500 plans only.

Virgin Media has launched a dedicated Black Friday area of its website here, which will be updated once its deals are live.

Sky

Shoppers can currently save £84 on a Sky Glass package (

The provider regularly refreshes its prices with new promotions, with its Sky Stream and Netflix bundle now available for £26 a month – or £29 on a monthly rolling plan.

There’s never been a better time to join Sky, as it’s home to some epic new and upcoming shows that are not to be missed. Batman spin-off The Penguin is airing now and has racked up stellar reviews, while sci-fi prequel Dune: Prophecy and new The Day of the Jackal series are coming in November.

On top of this, Sky Stream includes a subscription to Netflix’s Standard with adverts plan at no extra cost, so you can catch the second season of Squid Game when it lands on December 26. Netflix normally costs £4.99 a month, so you’re effectively paying £21.01 for more than 100 extra channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and Comedy Central.

While Sky is yet to reveal its plans for Black Friday, last year’s sale saw this plan reduced to £19 a month, so we’d expect a similar deal this time around. There’s also likely to be discounts on Sky Glass, which is already on offer at £14 a month for the first three months and comes with Sky’s own 4K QLED smart TV.

Mobiles.co.uk

Mobiles.co.uk has slashed the price of an iPhone 16 ahead of Black Friday

If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, Mobiles.co.uk is also offering some cracking deals. The retailer is currently offering the new iPhone 16 for £38.99 a month and £9 up front for the 128GB model.

This is a 24-month contract on iD Mobile that includes 500GB data and unlimited minutes and texts, plus a free MagSafe case. While this is the most eye-catching plan at time of writing, iPhone 16 plans start from £24.99 a month if you’re happy to pay more up front, which works out cheaper over the life of the plan.

If Samsung is more your thing, Mobiles.co.uk is also giving away a free Galaxy Watch FE to customers who buy any contract or SIM-free purchase of the Galaxy S24 FE. We’ve already covered this in our Samsung deals round-up, but believe it’s still worth shouting about.

A Galaxy Watch FE normally costs £199 when buying directly from Samsung, but shoppers get one for free until October 31. The Galaxy S24 FE was released earlier this year as a budget-friendly alternative to the standard S24, which comes in a choice of blue, graphite, grey and mint, with storage of 128GB or 256GB.

Shoppers can get the phone along with a free Galaxy Watch FE with any 24-month plan on iD Mobile, including the 100GB plan, which comes with unlimited calls and texts for £25.99 a month and £9 up front. For those with larger data needs, iD also offers a 500GB plan for £23.99 a month and £79 up front.

iD Mobile’s S24 FE plans start at £14.99 a month if you’re looking to keep monthly costs down, but bear in mind these plans will have higher upfront costs. Mobiles.co.uk has also unveiled its Black Friday landing page here, so check back once the sales start.
