Tesco has cut the price of more than 200 products across its Express convenience stores.
Some of the items the supermarket has reduced include household essentials such as milk, bread, pasta and coffee. A total of 222 products are included in the price cuts, with prices reduced by more than 10% on average. For example, a four-pint bottle of milk has been cut from £1.55 to £1.45, while a Tesco Toastie White Thick White Loaf has been cut from 85p to 75p.
Other savings include Tesco Chicken Breast Portions (300g) being reduced from £2.50 to £2.25 and a 200g jar of Tesco Gold Instant Coffee now costs £2.25 instead of £2.50. The supermarket has also cut the price of some branded products, including Warburtons White Sliced Sandwich Rolls, which has been reduced from £1.30 to £1.20 and Domestos Original Bleach 750ml, which is now £1.19, down from £1.30.

It comes as an important Tesco deadline was issued for shoppers. In just over two weeks, more than £18million worth of Clubcard vouchers will no longer be valid. Tesco Clubcard vouchers are valid for two years, so these were first issued in November 2022. The vouchers will no longer be valid to use after midnight on November 30. The supermarket has emailed customers with reminders to use their vouchers before they expire.
Tesco shoppers get one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on groceries in stores and online, or one point for every two litres of fuel you buy at a Tesco petrol station. Additionally, every £1 spent on Tesco Mobile is worth one point, while every £4 spent on a Tesco credit card is also worth one point. You'll also get one point for every £1 spent using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. You need a minimum of 150 points to get a Clubcard voucher, which will be worth £1.50 to spend in Tesco.
