With less than two weeks until the start of December, Boots has slashed one of its coveted beauty advent calendars to its lowest price yet. As part of the health and beauty retailer’s Black Friday sale, there’s up to 30% off some of their popular countdowns, including the Boots Premium Beauty Full Size 12-Day Advent Calendar.

Usually £99, the calendar has been reduced to £74.25 , but it’s actually worth £359.59. It’s the cheapest we’ve seen the haul since it launched this Autumn, saving customers £285 on the contents.

The calendar contains 12 full sized products from trending brands like Sol De Janeiro, Bobbi Brown, Liz Earle and more, with each one working out at £6.19 as part of the deal. One of the products inside, the Drunk Elephant A-GLOEI Virgin Marula 30ml, is worth £65 alone, which is only £9.25 less than the price you pay for the whole calendar, Liverpool Echo reports.

On the Boots website, the calendar has earned a perfect five-star rating from shoppers who have praised its value and contents. One said: “Such good value, love beauty advents and this is a good one. All large items and I wanted the Wella hair spray and the highlighter so cannot go wrong.”

A second added: “Amazing value for money , can’t recommend enough. All full-sized products and a nice selection across hair, skincare & makeup.”

One thought it was so good, they bought three, commenting: “Great deal for money considering the item it comes with. Quality and brands. Every woman must have this set. I got it at full price though. Today it was part of Black Friday sale with an extra 20% off. I bought another 2 boxes just simply because I am obsessed with all of it.”

The £75 calendar is worth more than £350 including brands like Drunk Elephant and Sol de Janeiro (

Meanwhile, beauty-obsessed shopping writer Shani Cohen unboxed the haul and was impressed by the contents, commenting: “One thing that makes the Boots calendar stand out is the impressive line-up of brands. You’ve got some seriously big hitters here: Huda Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, Drunk Elephant, KVD, Bobbi Brown, and Too Faced, to name a few. Plus, this calendar isn’t skimping on sizes - many of the items are full-sized, which is definitely a win when you're forking out nearly £100.

“One of my personal highlights is the Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor Body Wash which RRP's for £23. I’m a sucker for anything from this brand because it always makes me feel like I’m on a tropical vacation. This body wash smells incredible and leaves your skin feeling so soft - perfect for getting that summer glow in the middle of winter.”

However, it’s not guaranteed that every product will suit every person’s skin or hair type, so it’s always worth checking out the full contents before committing to purchasing. That said, if there’s something that doesn’t particularly take your fancy, you could always give it away as a Christmas gift. Here’s everything inside the Boots Premium 12-Day beauty calendar :

I’ve been writing about beauty advent calendars since August, keeping an eye on all the launches, discounts and sell outs, so some might consider me something of an expert in the subject. Boots launched a bumper crop of beauty advent calendars this year, most of which are now sold out, including both No7 calendars, their Macmillan charity calendar and their premium 24-day offering. As such, I think the Boots Premium Beauty Full Size 12-Day Advent Calendar, will be the next one to max out.

Elsewhere, other retailers stocking their own take on a festive countdown include Next , PrettyLittleThing and Charlotte Tilbury . Or you can opt for the Boots calendar for under £75 here.
