Louise Haigh is the Secretary of State for Transport and Member of Parliament (MP) for Sheffield Heeley since 2015.

She previously worked for Aviva as public policy manager before her election to Parliament, and also volunteered as a special constable in the Metropolitan Special Constabulary from 2009 to 2011.

Haigh has previously held the role of Shadow Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2020 to 2021, and held various shadow ministerial roles under former leader Jeremy Corbyn.
